Dear Mr. Herrmann:
The following action was taken at the Southold Town Board of Trustees regular meeting held on
Wednesday, November 13, 2019:
RESOLVED, that the Southold Town Board of Trustees APPROVE the request for a Transfer of
Wetland Permit#743 from Veljko J. Krstulovic to Lois J. & Nicholas M. Camarano, as issued on
August 8, 1972; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Southold Town Board of Trustees APPROVE the
Administrative Amendment to Wetland Permit#743 for the as-built 3'x28' fixed catwalk and
3'x16' adjustable ramp leading to a "Y" shaped floating dock arrangement consisting of a 4' to
10'wide by 14' long float extension and a 6'x20' float secured by two (2) pilings; and as
indicated on the survey prepared by Nathan Taft Corwin III, Land Surveyor, last dated
November 1, 2019, and stamped approved on November 13, 2019.
Any other activity within 100' of the wetland boundary requires a permit from this office.
This is not a determination from any other agency.

Dear Mr. Domino:
Pursuant to direction from your office and my subsequent conversation with you, please find
attached an application to modify Wetlands Permit No. 743 (which was originally issued in 1972
for a 4' x 20' fixed catwalk, 4' x 9' ramp, and Y-shaped floating dock arrangement consisting of
4' x 20' and 6' x 20' floating docks)to reflect the existing dock configuration, including a 3' x
28' fixed catwalk and 3' x 16' ramp leading to a Y-shaped floating dock arrangement consisting
of a 4' — 10' wide x 14' long float extension and 6' x 20' float secured by(2)pilings, as depicted
on the survey prepared by Nathan Taft Corwin III Land Surveyor, last dated November 1, 2019.
Please note that the existing dock configuration, which is generally similar to that reflected on
the 1972 permit, appears to be roughly the same as that which was present at the time the Board
of Trustees issued Hurricane Sandy Emergency Permit No. 743E to make repairs to the dock in
2013.

The Permittee Veljko J. Krstulovic
residing at South Drive, Shore Acres , Mattituck, N. y,, as
part of the consideration for the issuance of .the Permit does understand and prescribe to the fol-
lowing
1. That the said Board of Trustees and the Town of Southold are released from any and
all damages, or claims for damages, of suits arising directly or indirectly as a result of any oper-
ation performed pursuant to this permit, and the said Permittee will, at his or,her own expense,
defend any and all such suits initiated by third parties, and the said Permittee assumes full liability
with respect thereto, to the complete exclusion of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Southold
2. That this Permit is valid for a period of 12 mos. which is..considered to be the
estimated time required to complete the work involved, but should circumstances warrant, request
for an extension may be made to the Board at a later date.
3. That this Permit should be retained .indefinitely, or as long as the said Permittee wishes
to maintain the structure or project involved, to provide evidence to anyone concerned.that auth-
orization was originally obtained.
4. That the work involved will be subject to the inspection and approval, of the Hoard or
its agents, and non-compliance with the provisions of the originating application, may be cause for
revocation of this Permit by resolution of the said,Board.
r� 5. That .there will be no unreasonable interference with navigation as a result of the work
herein authorized.
6. That there shall be no interference with the right of the public to pass and repass along
the beach between high and low water marks.
7. That if future operations of the Town of. Southold require the removal and/or alterations
in the location of the work herein authorized, or if, in the opinion of the Board of Trustees, the
work shall cause unreasonable obstruction to free navigation, the said Permittee will be required,
upon due notice, to remove or alter this work or project herein stated•without.expenses. to the Town
of Southold.

Application has been made by MR. VELJKO J. YRSTULOVIC, 609 WEST
114TH STREET, NEW YORK, NEW YORK 10025 for a Department of the Army
approval of existing pier, float and piles in MATTITUCK CREEK, AT
SHORE ACRES, TOWN OF SOUTHOLD, SUFFOLK COUNTY, NEW YORK.
A copy of the plans of the work is shown on the reverse of this sheet.
The applicant has constructed a pier extending 20 feet offshore of an
existing bulkhead and having a deck elevation of 2 feet above the plane
of mean high water. The applicant has also installed afloat held in
place by piles having a top elevation of 1 foot above the plane of mean
high water and connected to the existing pier by means of a ramp. The
entire structure extends 65 feet offshore of the existing bulkhead.
The decision as to whether approval will be granted Uill be based on an
evaluation of the impact of the work on the public interest. Factors
affecting the public interest include, but are not limited to, navigation,
fish and wildlife, water quality, economics, conservation, aesthetics,
recreation, water supply, flood damage prevention, ecosystems, and,
in general, the needs and welfare of the people.
Any criticisms or protests regarding the work should be PREPARED IN
WRITING AND MAILED TO REACH THIS OFFICE prior to 8 January 1973
otherwise it will be presumed that there are no objections.
It is requested that you communicate the foregoing information concerning
the work to any persons known by you to be interested and who, not being
known to this office, do not receive a copy of this notice.

5.. Secure the correct Area Map from the Secretary of this Board ,and
by using an X WITHIN A CIRCLE indicate as closely as possible the
location of this dock. On the reverse side of this map, provide
a SCALE DRAWING which will show Ordinary High Water Mark, the shape
and size of the dock and any supplemental pilings which are needed
to hold a floating dock or tie-up a boat. Give all dimensions
necessary to determine the area of the dock surface which extends
offshore from the O.H.W .M.
6 . Will any portion of this construction extend offshore into Town
Waters beyond an imaginary line or boundary formed by o er
similar structures along the area ' s shoreline? YES or NO If it
does extend beyond this so-called dock line indicate by ow
