The property is identified on the county tax map as number 1000-044-1-16. The structure on the property consists of a shack used primarily for storage. The existing pile foundation was washed from under the shack during the Christmas Eve storm. I desire to reinstall the structure, on piles, in it's previous location. Will a town wetlands permit be required to reinstall the structure? The property has been in my family since 1925 and there is no survey currently available for this property. Will a survey be required if I am required to obtain a wetlands permit? I am tentatively planning to do any work on the structure when the property owner to the west undertakes repairs to his house. Please contact me with instructions on how I will be allowed to proceed with repairs to the existing shack. Thank you. Respectfully yours, David S.
