dated and received 6/6/96. Located: 500 Koke Drive, Southold.

CONSERVATION ADVISORY COUNCIL
At the meeting of the Southold Town Conservation Advisory Council held
Monday, May 20, 1996, the following recommendation was made:

Moved by Allan Connell, seconded by Jack Hagerty, it was
RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Board of Trustees
DISAPPROVAL of the Amendment request of EDWIN J. BERNHARDT 87-5-4
to amend permit to add 4' x 29' "L" with a 4' x 14' ramp, 8' x 23' float with
two piles as per submitted survey.
500 Koke Drive, Southold
The Council recommends disapproval because the proposal would cover more bay
bottom and applicant has a functional dock.
Vote of Council: Ayes: All
Motion carried.

I am the cardiologist taking care of Mr. Edwin Bernhardt . Since
his bypass surgery, he has not been sturdy on his feet. Because
of this, I don' t think it is a good idea for him to have a three
foot ramp. In my opinion, he needs ,at least a four foot ramp to
his house.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS
1. No dredging or filling is permitted.
2. Repairs to existing structures shall be limited to replacement of
timbers without change in design or dimension.
3. No repair or replacement of bulkheads is permitted under this permit.
4. No freshwater or tidal wetlands are to be disturbed under any
circumstances.
-5. A yellow permit sign provided by this office shall be displayed on
the project at all times while under replacement.
6. Original permit numbers (31° high) must be permantly displayed on
