HomeMy WebLinkAboutZBA-05/16/1957 MINUTES Southold Town Building Zone Ordinance Board of Appeals May 16th, 1957 A regular meeting of the board of appeals was held at the Town Clerk' s Office in Southold, N.Y. , on Thursday, May 16th, 1957, at 7:30 P.M. `.There were present: Mr. Robert W. Gillispie, Jr. (Chairman) Mr. Herbert Rosenberg Mr. Charles Gregonis Also: Mr. Howard M. Terry, Building Inspector Absent: Mr. Robert Bergen Mr. Serge Doyen, Jr. GEORGE F. GRATHIN'OHL of New Suffolk appeared regarding Lot 66 and half of Lot 65 751 frontage x 150t depth) located. between Grathwohl and Vlicks Rds. He submitted several maps; one setup in 1932, another made September 7, 1951 (revised November 16, 1951) and a new map made -April 2, 1957. The map of April 2, 1957, conforms as far as possible to requirements for lot sizes, which the board looks on favorably. Mr. Grathwohl also submitted a copy of Restrictions in Deed on Meadow- land and Uplandwhich was read to the board by the Chairman. ZALESKI Mr. Terry advised that Mr. Zaleski has inquired as to whether he had to get a separate permit for moving building off a lot and putting it on another. As far as the board is concerned he does not need a permit to remove said building but must have a build- ing permit for erection on new location. EDWARD GREEN - ROACH - MARJORIE BURNS Property: LVIr. Terry advised that inquiries concerning these properties had all been referred to the Planning Board. Minutes of the May 2nd meeting were read by Tuba Gillispie. Motion was made 'by' Ivir. Gregonis that minutes be approved. Mr. Rosenberg seconded the motion. Motion carried and so approved. Mr, Terry brought up the subject of recording of minutes and it was unanimously agreed that whenever a motion is made and seconded, both the name of the party making the motion and the name of the party seconding the motion shall be' duly recorded. Also, number of votes "for" or "against" and just how each member of the board voted shall be so recorded. ka-inutes of the IvTay 9th meeting; were read by Mr. Gillispie. On motion made by Mr. Gregonis, seconded by ii'Ir.
