Mr. Ashby said his lawyer had advised him to deed every other lot over to his wife and this was done 3 or 4 days before zoning went into effect. Recently, .due to the fact that he realized he would need some sort of variance in order to build on these lots, he had Mr. Van Tuyl draw up ,a revised map. New map is dated July 8, 1957, but the lots are still undersized._ Board advised that the map in it1s present form would not be acceptable as the Ordinance requires that a lot be 125, x 100, and they advised Mr. ;Ashby to take the matter up with the Planning Board and have them take a look at the property in_ q_uestion. Chairman: "Is there anyone present who wishes to speak "againstt' this appeal? Anyone wishing to speak 11for" I There being no response, the board studied this application for permission to build an addition to the present structure. Rough sketch of project accompanied appeal which showed an existing porch that is to be torn down and replaced by the new addition of a bedroom, which would reduce the existing setback by approximately 10 feet. Board agreed that this request for variance be granted as other existing houses in the district are of various setbacks and the granting of this variance would not change .the character of the district in question. It was pointed out, however, that Mr. Troutman would be notified, in the form of a letter, that he would have to observe Section 1006 of the Ordinance pertaining to obsnuring of view on a corner lot. .Hearing ended.
