A regular meeting of the Southold Town Board of Appeals was held at 7:30 P. M.
on Thursday, S eptember 26, 1957, at the Town Clerkts office in Southold, N. Y.
There were present: Mr. R. W Gillispie,-Jr., Chairman
Mr. Herbert Rosenberg
Mr. Charles Gregonis, Jr.
.Mr. Robert Bergen
Absent: Mr, Serge Doyen, Jr.
Also present: Mr. Howard M. Terry, Building Inspector
PUBLIC HEARING: Appeal No. 29 on application of Theodore Maxcheck of 90-29
212th Street, Qaeens Village, N. Y., for a variance of the Zoning Ordinance,
Article III, Section 303, Location of property: Lots.No. 35, 36 and 37, Bay Avenue
and Haywaters Drive, Cutchogae, N. Ye, on tracing of Map of Messrs.William and A
Harry Mason by Mr. Otto We VanTuyl, dated April'15, 1948.
Letter to Mr. Vaircheck advising of date of public hearing, application for
variance and legal, notices with affidavits from two official town newspapers were
read by the Chairman.
There being no one present to speak either for or against this appeal the
Board discussed in detail all information given in application and unanimously
agreed to continue this hearing at a later date due to the unusual circumstances
in connection with the application.
Hearing recessed.
Minutes of the September 19th meeting were read by the Secretary. On motion
made by Mr. Rosenberg, seconded by Mr. _Gregonis, and carried, Minutes were approved.
The next regular meeting of the Board of Appeals will be held on Thursday,
October 3rd.
Meeting adjourned at 9:35 P.M.
