Gillispie, Jr., Chairman MINUTES - - Robert Bergen Southold Town Board of Appeals Herbert Rosenberg Charles Gregonis, Jr. October 24, 1957 Serge Doyen, Jr. A regular meeting of the Southold Town Board of Appeals was held at 7:30 P.M. on Thursday, October 24, 1957, in the Town Clerkts Office, Southold, IT. Y. There were present: Mr. R. W. Gillispie, Jr., Chairman Mr. Robert Bergen Mr. Herbert Rosenberg Mr. Charles Gregonis, Jr. Mr. -Serge Doyen, Jr. Also: Mr. Howard M. T erry, Building Inspector Public Hearing: Appeal No. 33, application of Messrs. D ouglas J. and Lawrence Carrie of 2521LSeaford Avenue, Massapequa, N. Y., for a variance to the Zoning Ordinance on Plot No. 2 located on the north side of S ound View Avenue, 15001 west of Kenny's Road, Southold, N. Y., 1621/841 x, 96-1/21, total approximate area, 11,870 square feet. Application for appeal, letter to appellants advising of date of public hearing and legal notices with affidavits from two official tovm newspapers were read by the Chairman. There being no one present who wished to speak either for or against the appeal the Board studied application and accompanying plot plan. It was the unanimous decision of the Board to grant the variance on the under- sized lot as it was the BoardIs opinion that the best possible development of the land had been established. Board further granted recognition of one right-of-way, 12-1/2 feet in width, adjoining westerly side of Plots 1 and 2, a total distance of 270 feet in depth from North to South. Minutes of the October 17th meeting were read. On motion made by Mr. Bergen, seconded by Mr. Gregonis, and carried, minutes were approved. Among various recommendations with reference to the relocation and control of signs in the Town. of Southold were those of Mr. R. S. Witherspoon of the Peconic Outdoor Advertising Company, Southold, N.
