BOARD OF 'SOUTHOLD TOWN TRUSTEES
Meeting of November 11, 1974
A regular meeting of the Board of Southold Town Trustees was held
at 7 :30 P.M. ,' Monday, November 11, 1974 at 'the Town Board meeting
room, 16 South Street, Greenport, New York, with the following
present:
Alvah B. Goldsmith, Chairman
Douglas M;.RBbertson
Philip G. Horton
Frederick E. Gordon
George Bird
Judith T. Boken, Secretary
Also present: Orville Terry, Paul Stoutenburgh
On motion of Mr. Bird, seconded by Mr. Horton, it was
RESOLVED that Frederick Falconer, Box 10D, Fleetwood Road,
Cutchogue, New York, be granted permission,--effective -October 12,
1974, to construct a catwalk 4 ft. by 10 ft. , ramp -2 i ft. by
10 ft. , float 6 ft. by 20 .ft. ,, with two mooring piles, and redredge
an area 30.. ft. by 30 ft. , removing approximately 100 cu. yds. of
fill, which is to be placed on the applicantAs upland property,
all in accordance with the detailed specifications as presented
in the originating application. Fee $30. 50.
Vote of the Board: Ayes : Mr. Goldsmith, Mr. Robertson,. Mr.
Horton, Mr. Gordon, Mr. Bird.
The Board congratulated Oeustee George Bird who was elected
November 5th to fill the unexpired term of Rudolph Johnson.
A lengthy discussion was held with Paul Stoutenburgh relative to
dredging and filling wetlands and how to prevent it and police it.
He asked the Board to check the property of August Bohn, Beebe
Drive Cutchogue for illegal filling of wetlands , and the property
of Ann Marie Nelson, Ninth Street and Cherry Lane, Greenport for
the location of fill site under Department of the Army application.

On motion of Mr. Robertson, seconded by Mr. . Bird, it was
RESOLVED that the Board of Southold Town Trustee minutes for
October 7 , 1974 be approved as submitted.
Vote of the Board: Ayes: . 'Mr.-' -Goldsmith,. :Mr. .Robertson, Mr.
Horton, Mr. Gordon, Mr. Bird.
On motion of Mr. Gordon, seconded by Mr. Horton, it was
RESOLVED that the next regular meeting of the Board of Southold .
Town Trustees will be held at 7 :30 P.M. , Monday, December 2 , 1974,
at the Town Board meeting room, 16 South Street, Greenport, New
York.
Vote of the Board: ' Ayes : Mr. Goldsmith, Mr. Robertson, Mr.
Horton, Mr. Gordon, Mr. Bird.
Meeting adjourned at 8:25 P.M.
