BOARD OF SOUTHOLD TOWN TRUSTEES .
Meeting of December 2, 1974
A regular meeting of the. Board of Southorld_ Town,; Trustees. was held
at 7 :30 P.M. , Monday, November 11, 1974 at the Town .Board meeting
room, 16 South Street, Greenport, New York, with the following
present:
Alvah B. Goldsmith, Chairman
Douglas M. Robertson
Philip G Horton
Frederick E. Gordon
Judith T. Boken, Secretary
Also present: Loretta Hess , Loraine Terry, Orville Terry, Paul
Stoutenburgh
On motion of Mr. Gordon, seconded by Mr. Robertson, it was
RESOLVED that Charles C. . Horne, 324 Fifth Avenue, Greenport, New
York be granted permission to use Town Mooring #9 at Town ramp,
Sterling Creek, Greenport, alls_in accordance with the detailed
specifications as presented in the originating application.
Fee $5. 00.
Vote of the Board: Ayes : Mr. Goldsmith, Mr. Robettson, Mr.
Horton, Mr. Gordon.
On motion of Mr. Horton, seconded by Mr. Gordon, it was
RESOLVED that Mrs. Dave Phillips, Mill Road, Mattituck, New York,
be granted permission to construct a 93 ft. erosion control
bullhead on her property on Mill Road, Mattituck Creek, all
in accordance with the detailed specifications as presented in
the originating application. Fee : $5.00.
Vote of the Board: Ayes : Mr. Goldsmith, Mr. Robertson, Mr.
Horton, Mr. Gordon.
An application was received' from the Southold Town Clerk requesting
a report of findings and recommendations with respect to applica-
tion of Donald P. Brickley for a wetland permit on his property
at 75 Broadwaters Drive, Cutchogue, New York, Rev. Brickley

proposes to fill 20 ft.-of brush to the edge of the meadow grass
to comply with request for ceptic pools drainage, per an alleged
request of the Board of Health, and open an existing mosquito ditch
to a width of approximately 3 ft. to preserve the ecological balance
of the meadows. The Board tabled the application to allow time to
determine the facts of the case.
On motion cf Mr. Gordon, seconded by Mr. Robertson, it was
RESOLVED that the Board of Southold Town Trustee minutes of
November 11, 1974 be approved as submitted.
Vote of the Board: Ayes: Mr. Goldsmith, Mr. Robertson, Mr.
Horton, Mr. Gordon.
On motion of Mr. Horton, -- seconded by Mr. Gordon, it was
RESOLVED that the next regular meeting of the Board of Southold
Town Trustees will be held at 7 :30 P.M. , Monday, January 6, 1975
at the Town Board meeting room, 16 South Street, Greenport, New York.
Vote of the Board: Ayes : Mr. Goldsmith, Mr.. Robertson, Mr.
Horton, Mr. Gordon.
Meeting adjourned to Executive Session at 8 :20 P.M.
