MEETING OF AUGUST 28, 1961. 1 SJ a A meeting of the Southold Town Trustees was called to order at 4 P.M. on August 28, 1961, at the Town Clerk Office, Southold. Present: Emmons Dean Philip Weiler Frank Dawson John McNulty Marion Regent Also present: Howard Terry, Building Inspector; Mr. Fleschutz and Mr . DAWejano--, representing Brushes Creek Association. Mr. T. R. Fleschutz and Mr. Dawes appeared before the Town Trustees representing the Brushes Creek Association to request the Trustees to petition the County to open Brushes Creek when the County dredge was being used in that area. The Trustees referred them to the Town Board for advice in this matter . The following permits were signed by the Trustees: Antone Krupski John J. Bomba Edwin H. King Douglas Weston Laughing Water Association The application with all necessary papers of Robert Halliday for a quit claim deed to filled land was considered by the Board. -the application was granted and the papers were forwarded to Town Counsel Robert Tasker for the proper forms of deed f_© be submitted for the Board' s signatures. Application of William H. Bradford for three (3) stakes, one in Jockey Creek, Southold, one in Narrow River, Orient, and one in Mill Creek, Southold, was read and approved, Fee $1.50. Application of John F. Kelly, MD. Coreys Cave, Southold, to erect a jetty on the northeast corner of his property on Corey Creek was read and approved. Fee $10.00. Application of T. R. Fleschutz to locate two (2) poles in Brushes Creek was read and approved. Fee $1.00. It was voted by the Town Trustees to write Mr. James Murray, Mattituck, N.Y. advising him that permits must be obtained Brom the Town Trustees before placing -stakes in any Town owned waters. (Before this letter had been sent, however, Mr. Murray came to the Town Clerk Office and obtained applications ) Marion A. Regent, Sec.
