Present: Emmons Dean -. Philip Weiler John McNulty Frank Dawson Alvah Goldsmith Marion Regent An application was received from RUDOLPH ARMBURST Mattituck, for permission to install a float with ramp to shore in front of his property on branch of Mattituck Creek. The float to be 4' x 14' with 4 pilings and the ramp 2' x 20' with the extreme outer end of float not to exceed 35 feet out from high water mark. Application granted -- fee $10.00. An application waa received from William F. STEWART, Meday Avenue, Mattituck, N.Y. for permission -to erect a dock in front of his property extending about 50 feet into the creek to about low water mark, and to dredge an area approximately 20' x 30' opposite the outer end of the dock in which to instal arofo : w ; 18' long.yra Since the proposed dock is on the: liYi`e` ' , between '.his property and that of Ethel M. Wed.1s, and, Having talked t6',N1rs` Wells by phone regarding the proposed dock, the Board voted to lay the application on the table, pending receipt of .an agreement between these parties as to the exact location of -the dock. The Board has the opinion that the dock should be a minimum of 10 feet inside the applicants extended original property lines unless a formal agreement is submitted. An application from Mr. ROBERT ROTHMAN of Southold, N.Y. , for permiss- ion to move an existing dock and dredge an area in Jockey Creek was received and studied by the Board. It would appear that the existing dock is on Townproperty and public access to and from the water along the highway is blocked by struct- ures already in existance. Before my action is taken on this applic- ation, it will be necessary for the applicant to provide proof of ownership to the property along the approach to the highway bridge at the proposed site of the project. The public interest in such points of- access to the water must be given every consideration in such locations, in the opinion of the Trustees. Minutes read and approved. 4 Meeting ajourned at 5: 30 P.M. Alvah B. Goldsmith, Clerk
