Town Clerk's Office Southold, New York A meeting of the Southold Town Trustees was ,cilled to order at 4 P.M. by President Emmons Dean at Southold Town Clerk's Office. Present: Emmons Dean Philip Weiler Frank Dawson Alvah Goldsmith Marion Regent Mr. Raymond Terry appeared before the Board to inquire if the Board would consider giving Mr. Joseph Ulrich a permit to erect a dock 60 feet foom his present high water mark. The Board advised Mr. Terry that such a request would appear to be unreasonable inasmuch as it would extend beyond Mr. Ulrich's original property. Mr. Howard Terry appeared before the Board for clarification of numerous questions that have been asked him regarding the Town waters. A letter was read from Me. Thomas F. D 1 ,Jra in which he enclosed photostatic copies of an--a—gY—eeme_nt and map outlining the boundaries between his property and that of Grace Nickles with the request that it be kept can our files as a permanent record. The Board agreed to acknowledge the letter and advise Mr. Daly that if and when he decided to do any dr:.dging, he file an application with the Town Trustees and they would be happy to have him attend the meeting at which action would be taken in the matter. An application was read from Mr. Way ter H. Bi ek eves, of the Bartley Association for permission to dredgein James Creek Mattituck, along the property of C.B.S. Marr, a member of the Issociation. It was voted that the application be granted. The fee will be $1.00 if the Town Board agrees to participate in the project, otherwise the fee will be $25.00. An application was read from Chester R. and Anna_T- AJ ertsor1 to dredge and erect a dock in Jockey Creek in front of their property. The Board voted to grant the application for a fee of $10.00 with the understanding that the dock should not exceed 20 feet in length from the original high water mark. An application was read flrf!m C. Gray Smith-for permission to dredge in front of his property on Jo 2e`y ree - 270 feet frontage- to a depth of 6 feet and 40 feet out foom present high water mark. It wasP__1 ' voted to grant the application with .the understanding that the dock W�,W' should not exceed 20 feet in length out from the original high water mark. Fee for same to be $3 5.00. An application wasread from Geor a C. Schweitze for permission to erect a dock on a '� Creek 'cannel °o in fr t of is property between C.C.McNeilly and Victoria Rumpler. Tt was voted to grant the application provided the- dock should be located inshore of the dredged channel and so arranged that it would not interfere with navigation thru the channel by other boats even with a boat tied alongside of it.
