A meeting of the Southold Town Trustees was'.ailled to order by President Emmons Dean at 4 P.M. Tuesday, June 4, 1957, Present: Emmons Dean John McNulty Frank Dawson Alvah B. Goldsmith Marion Regen$r Minutes of last meeting read for information. Mr. McNulty presented the application of Mattituck Park District to erect a public dock at the foot of Love pane, Ka t tuck on the newly "edged harbor. This 'dock according to plan is to be 54 feet long beginning at present bank of creek and 5 feet 3J inches wide. It was regularly moved,aadconded and carried that the permit be granted for the minimum fee of $1.00. The application of Mr. Tom Daley through Frank Zaleski, contractor, to dredge a new inl" into Hippodrome Creek was read. A letter from Mrs. Grace R. Nickles strengously objecting to any dredging on her property which would be necessary in this operation was also read. Having looked at the property, the clerk recommended that the permit be denied unless all objections were settled and an understanding is reached satisfactory to all the property owners concerned. An application was read from Mr. Burnett Fil] for permission to dredge a private inlet in his own property on Nassau Point opening on Broadwaters Creek. It was decided that several of the Board members visit the site to make a final determination in this matter. If no objection, the permit will be granted , the fee to be $10,00, An application was read from Robert H. Trubenbach_ for permission to erect a dock opposite his 4 foot at of and on Jockey Creek. It was decided to check the adjoining property owners for any objections tefore issuing a permit. If no objections are raised the Board will issue the permit for $10.00 fee.
