MINUTES OF TOWN TRUSTEE MEETING MARCH 27, 1256.
TOWN CLERK'S OFFICE SOUTHOLD, NEW YORK.
A meeting of the Town Trustees was called to order by President
Emmons Dean at 4:30 P.M. on Tuesday March 27, 1956, at the Town
Clerk's Office, Southold, N.Y.
Present: Emmons Dean, President
Frank Dawson
John McNulty
Philip Weiler
Alvah Goldsmith
Marion Winters , Sec.
The minutes of the last meeting , February 28, 1956, were read
for information.
, Application of Ralph W. Fox for Mr. A. L R_,__ rancisco and_y�_
Mr. Frank Hendrickson for permission to redredge Jockey Creek

Channel to a distance of a roximatel 1 0 feet west from
the existing channel in Town Creek was read. This,:permit was
granted and a fee of $25.00 was voted as the nominal fee for
this project since it is an improvement to the general area.
Application of U2. S. Dept._ of ;Agriculture_for permission to
erect a bulkhead an a"combination dock and breakwater into
Gardiner 's Bay for a distance of approximately 650 feet soulth-
easterly from existing jetty into Gardiner 's Bay and to dredge
a channel into the existing basin paralleling-said jetty on
the westerly side thereof into existing basin to a depth of
approximately 91 was read.
.After considerably discussion it was decided that this
application wps outside of the juriddiction of the Town
Trustees and that the applicant be notified accordingly.
Application of Ray Youn , for permission to dredge in front

of his property on Town Creek was read and after discussion
it was voted to lay the application on the table pending
the submission of further information.
The minutes were read and approved.
The meeting ajourned at 5:30 P.M.
