MINUTES OF TOWN TRUSTEE MEETING AUGUST 10. 1955,
TOWN CLERK'S OFFICE SOUTHOLD, NEW YORK .
A meeting of the Southold Town Trustees was called to
order by President Emmons Dean at Southold Town Clerk's
Office at )+ P.M. on Wednesday, August 10, 1955.
Present: Emmons Dean
Lyle F. Tuthill
Frank Dawson
J&hn McNulty
Alvah B. Goldsmith
Marion Winters
Mr. Raymond Sanford appeardd and applied for permission
to dredge ou-an area approximately 25 feet by 50 feet
in the creek channel at the south-westerly side of Pe ni
Bay Estates adjoining the property of 5am� 1 Matassd
to use the fill to cover the meadow grass and ui d up
the level of the property. It was moved , seconded and
carried to grant this permit, it being stated positively
by Mr. Sanford that there was no objection by adjoining
property owners. The fee of $10.00 was to be made for this
permit.
Application ofMax Newb for permission to erect a
dock )+ feet wide an 5 feet long from high water mark
. out into Jockey Creek from his property on the southerly
side of said creek was received and considered. It was
voted to grant a permit for the dock for a fee of $5.00.
Minutes were read and approved.
Meeting adjourned at 4:'50 P.M.
