MEETING OF TOWN TRUSTEES ---------JUNE 17, 1955
TOWN CLERK'S OFFICE ----------- SOUTHOLD, NEW YORK
A meeting of the Town Trustees was held on Friday June
17th, 1955, at 4 P.M. at the Southold Town Clerks
Office.
Present: Emmons Dean
Lyle Tuthill
Frank Dawson
Alvah Goldsmith
Marion Winters
The meeting was called to order by president, Emmons
Dean.
This special meeting was called for the pwrlpose of
hearing the new application of Joseph P. Ulrich for
permission to dredge at the head of Jockey Creek.
Mr. Raymond Terry and Mr. Daniel Smith, two of the
adjoining property owners, and Mr. Joseph Ulrich
were present.
N� p�sented the new proposal which he stated
would not encroach on the existing drain gutter and
that all bulkheads, catwalks and docks would be Ear
enough removed from the bou��}}ddar line between his
property and that of Raymond/�t it would in no way
interfere with Terry's ability to dredge on his own
property at any future time, should he so desire.
Based on the new sketch Mr. Smith and Mr. Terry agreed
that they had no objection to the new proposal. The
new channel is to be 40 feet wide and approximately
:500 feet Tong beginning at a point approximately 200
feet from the Main Road as per attached sketch.
The Trustees voted ,to grant the permit, the fee to be
$25.00.
The minutes were read and approved.
The meeting ddjourned at 4:45 P.M.
