T E S BOARD OV SOUTHOLD TOWN TRUSTEES - Meeting �of`'Apr-il' 2 , 1973 A regulat meeting of the Board of Southold Town' Trustees was-held at 7 :30 P.M. , Monday-,=- April- =2; 1973` at the' Town Clerk 's Office, Main Road, Southold, New York, with the fol'lowing:�present: Alvah B. Goldsmith, Chairman Douglas M. Robertson Philip G. Horton Rudolph Johnson Frederick E. Gordon Judith T. Boken, Secretary Also present: Mr. Andrew Goodale, New Suffolk, New York, representing the North Fork Taxpayers Assoc. Mr. Edward Hallahan, Depot Lane, Cutchogue, New York, appeared before the Board and presented his application for a floating dock and floating runway, to which he wishes to tie his 40 ft. 1 lobster boat, ain Mattituck Creek at the foot of Bayview Avenue, Mattituck'. On motion of Mr. Robertson, seconded by Mr. Johnson, it was RESOLVED that Edward Hallahan, Depot Lane, Cutchogue, New York, be granted a temporary permit to place a 6 ft. by 32 ft. floating dock and 644ft. by 3 ft. floating runway with four mooring pipes in Mattituck Creek, at the foot of Bayview Avenue, .Mattituck, New ' York, all in accordance with the detailed specifications as presented in the originating application. Fee $42.40. Vote of, the Board: Ayes: Mr. Goldsmith, Mr. Robertson, Mr. Horton, Mr. Johnson, Mr. Gordon. The Board discussed, at length, the question of the State of New York requiring permits for construction in Town waters. Mr. Thomas Samuels (James H. Rambo, Inc. ) appeared before the Board to present the application of Charles Hauser, Stonson Road, Cutchogue, New York, for permission to reconstruct an existing bulkhead, entirely on his own property, at Mud Creek. The Board waived objection to this project, as it is 'on the applicant' s own property and outside the jursidiction of the Board. No fee charged. 57 Mr. Samuels also presented the application of Dominick DeLalla, Bay Avenue, Cutchogue, New York,-requesting permission to build a- retain- ing wall bulkhead .to hold fill .dredged from maintenance dredging (maintenance dredging permit granted June- 5, .1972) , at Baldwin Creek, Bay Avenue, Cutchogue, New York. This project is entirely on the applicant' s own property, therefore the Board waived objection, it is outside their jurisdiction. No fee charged. Mr. Samuels next submitted the application of Louis Polesny, Stronson Road, Cutchogue, New York, requesting permission to place a fixed dock-cat.walk .in front of ,his property .off .Stonson Road, on Mud Creek, Cutchogue, ,.New York. The Board received a reply to their letter to Mary Edelmann;_relative to the rebuilding of her dock on the Long Creek branch of Mattituck Creek. The Board will investigate the site. On motion of Mr. Gordon, seconded by Mr. Horton, it was RESOLVED that 'the Board of Southold Town Trustees ' minutes of March 5 , 1973 be approved as submitted.
