HomeMy WebLinkAboutTR-09/29/1958 Southold Town Trustee Meeting September 29, 1958. The regular meeting of the Southold Town Trustees was called to order by President Emmons Dean at 4 P.M. Monday, September 29, 1958. Presents Emmons Dean John McNulty Frank Dawson Philip Weiler Alvah B. Goldsmith Marion A . Regent A letter was read from the Nassau Point Property Owners Association Inc. objecting to the dredging being done by Angelo Petrucci in front of his property on Braodwaters Cove. The Board decided to inspect the operation and advise the Association of the status as far as the- Town Trustees are concerned. Application rec&ived from MRS. MAE H. LENNON for permission to dredge and make a beach across the front of her property on Laughing Waters-Minnehaha Boulevard for the width of the property- 140 feet and extending.,15 feet out from existing well to remove meadow grass and bog aria A depth of 3 feet, approximately 150 yards to be excavated. The permit was granted, the fee to be $20.00. .Application of LEO BRAC for permission to put out a mooring stake A for a private boat in Baldwins Creek 50 feet from high water mark �� on a line with the southerly boundary of Sterling Road (on the lam' westerly side of Bay Ave. , Peconic)was received. The Board inspectedvVe the location and. granted permission - fee $5.00. A,-Cl Application of ELEANOR W. POLLOCK for permission to dredge in Wickham's Creek and fill in front of their bungalow was received. The Board inspected the property and granted the request- Fee .$ 25.00. The Board inspected the area referred to in letter of Nassau Point Propertkeewners Association owned by .Angelo Petrucci. The work being performed wax found to be on owners property and in accordance with the application made to the Board of Trustees under date of May 25rf 1950. The Clerk was instructed to answer the letter of Nassau Pt. Property Owners Association , advising them of the facts in the matter.
