MEETING OF MARCH 31, 1958.
A meeting of the Southold Town Trustees was called to order at the
Southold Town Clerk's Office at 4 P.M. Monday, March 31, 1958.

Minutes of the last meeting read for information.
.A letter was read from the Real Property Bureau of the Department
of Law re: application of MEADOW POINT PROPERTIES INC, for a grant of
land under water in Southhldd Bay , advising that a hearing with
respect to the remonstrance would be held on Tuesday, April 1, 19589
in the Hearing Room C on the 6th floor at 270 Broadway, N.Y.C..
The Southold Town Counsel, Robert W. Tasker, is to attend th&s
meeting to represent the Town Trustees,
A letter was read from MR. HENRY G. STENSON withdrawing his request
for a permit to dredge and build a dyke along his property line on
Mattituck Creek on the grounds that subsequent stenms had proven
the project would have been totally inadequate . He expressed his
appreciation of the invitation to meet with the Board.
An application was read from ALBERT C. HARKER for permission to
erect a dock off his property- Lot 31 of Wm. & Harry Mason Map of
Westview dated Feb. 209 1963. This dock to be 45 feet long and
4 feet wide extending out from high water mark. It is understood
that this dock shall not extend more than 10 feet beyond ordinary
low water mark and that the dock be fzzmxa&:8m±x±mgxyzz set back at
least 10 feet from adjoining property lines. The ap lication
was approved with these limitations , the Bee to be 10.00.
An application was read from WILLIAM H. WERTENBERG for permission
to erect a dock in front of his property on Howard's Creek, Mattituck.
The application stated that the dock was to be 4 feet wide and 45
feet long, extending only to low water mark. The application
was approved with the added provision that the dock be set back at
least 10 feet from adjoining property lines unless written consent
be obtained and submitted to the Board of Trustees from the adjoining
owner or owners affected. The fee to be $10.00.
