Town Trustees Meeting of February �5, 1958.
.A meeting of the Town Trustees was called to o-^der at the
Town Clerk's Office in Southold at 4 P.M. by President
Emmons Dean;
Present: Emmons Dean
Phillip Weiler
Frank Dawson
Alvah B. Goldsmith
The President called for a moment of silent prayer in memory
of the son of one of our members9 ' Mr. Dawson' who passed
away since our last meeting .
Mr. Carl E. Vail was present to present a suggestion for
the consideration of the Town Trustees as to dredging of
Jockey Creek by the County Dredge . It was suggested to
Mr. Vail that he get the approval of the property owners
directly concerned to a proposed operation and present it
to the Board and that the proposition could then be con-
sidered on the basis of its advantages to the greatest
number of people that might be affected. The Board assured
Mr. Vail of its interest in any beneficial operation of
this nature that would be for the general welfare of the
Town.
The application of Mr. Stenson' which was re-submitted'
was again laid on the table pending further study and in-
formation as to its effect on surrounding properties and
the dredged creek itself.
The minutes were . read and approved.
Meeting adjourned at 5 P.M.
