Meeting of July 27, 1970
The Southold Town Trustees met at the Town Clerk Office, Southold, N.Y.
on Monday, July 27 , 1970 at 7 :30 P.M. with the following present:
Alvah B. Goldsmith, Frank Dawson, John F. McNulty, Douglas Robertson
and Marion Regent, Secretary.
The next meeting of the Town Trustees will be held on Monday, Sept. 14, 1970
Application of Richard K. Lindblad, Harbor Lane, Cutchogue, N.Y. to
place a mooring for a 16 ' runabout in East Creek was approved. Fee $1. 00.
Application of Carroll J. Harvey to place a stake for a private boat in
Mattituck Creek in front of property owned by Howard Reeve, Jr. -was
granted, Mr. Reeve having given permission for same. Fee $1.00. l/

Application of Daniel R. Bridge to place mooringg ifi Laughing Water,
Southold, was approved. Fee $1.00. 7
Application of Frederick F. Rackett, Main Road, Orient, to place a stake
in Orient Creek in front of property of John B. Tuthill was approve
Mr. Tuthill having given permission for same. $1.00 Fee.
Application of Jack Brown, Mason Drive, Mattituck, to dredge a slip
175 ' and bulkhead 50 ' x 30 ' in Broadwaters Cove in front of his own
property was approved. Fee $43 . 75.
Application of Thomas R. .Shearin, Stillwater Avenue, Cutchogue, N.Y. , to
change the location of his stake from the end of Stillwater Avenue,which
has been filled in, to a new location in Eugene ' s Creek to the right of
East Road, x4asEappreved�'rall in accordance with the application submi t-
ea. Transfer fee $. 50 paid.
Application of John J. O'Neill, Fisherman 's Beach Road, Nassau Point,
Cutchogue, to replace bulkhead and remove fill from creek in Haywaters
Cove was approved. Length 70 ' , Width 20 ' , yards to be excavated 100j
Fee $21. 50.
Application of Broadwaters Cove Association, Inc. , Mason Drive, Cutchogue,
to bulkhead 110 ' in Broadwaters Cove in front of their own property was /
approved, all in accordance with the application submitted. Fee $27. 50�/
Application of Ronald J. Lajda, Indian Neck Lane, Peconic, N.Y. to
place a stake in Richmond Creek was held. It appears that the stake is
to be placed in PeconicfBay on the diagram. Application was returned
for further description.
Application of Willard H. Schilling, Laughing Water, Southold, to install
a stake for a small boat in Richmond Creek, outhold, was returned. It
appears from the illustration on the application that the mooring would be
placed in front of property owned by Dr. Emerson family and they have
requested that no more permits be issued in this area.
