The Southold Town Trustees met at the Town Office, Southold, on Monddy.1-,
August 18, 1969, at 7 :30 P.M. with the following present: Alvah B. Goldsmith,
Frank Dawson, John F. McNulty, Douglas Robertson and Marion Regent, Sec.
Absent: George Simpson.
The next meeting of the Southold Town Trustees will be Monday, September
8, 1969, at 7 :30 P.M. at the Town Office, Southold.
Applications of Anthony F. Volinski, Sr. , Antone Volinski, Jr. and
Robert L. Wilkinson for permits for stakes off Narrow River Road, Orient,
were denied at the present time, due to the number of permits already
issued in that area.
A quitclaim deed was granted to Maurice E. Peck and Christine M. Peck,
Cedar Lane, Gardiner ' s Bay Estates, East Marion, 35 ' x 601 , all in accord-
ance with the map and description filed with the Trustees on August 18,
1969, Fee $1. 00.
A quitclaim deed was granted to Robert Foudy, Mattituck, to filled land
adjacent to his property on Mattituck CreeK said additional land having
been added as a result of the County dredging. Fee $1. 00.
Application of William Buhler, Cedar and Oak Aves. , Goose Bay, Southold,
to use stake #23, Goose Bay Civic Assoc. Map, at the end of Cedar Avenueji.
on Goose Creek was granted. Fee $1.00 paid.
Application of Clem S. McKown, Pine Tree Road, Cutchogue, to dredge
in front of his property an area 67 ' x 65 ' on Little Creek was approved.
Fee $20. 00 paid..
Application of Mrs. Vera J. Goebel, Aod Ave. , Southold, to use
stake #36, Goose Bay Civic Assoc. Map, was granted, Mrs. Nmma Smith
having approved as an upland owner.
Application of John McIver, Cedar and Oak Ave. , Goose Bay, Southold,
to use stake #37 on Goose Bay Civic Assoc. .Map was granted, Mrs. Emma
Smith having approved as an upland owner:

A letter was received from Mr. Howard C. B*gg in relation to alleged
illegal dredging of the easterly port'lWattend -the

8, to discuss the matter.
Several complaints have been received in relation to dredging which was
done at Fishermen's Beach, Cutchogue, by Rambo, Inc. '(Dr. Samuels)
a letter was sent to Dr. Samuels asking that he attend the meeting of
Sept. 8, 1969, for discussion and clarification of this dredging.
