The ,Southold Town Trustees met at the Town Clerk's Office, Main Road,
Southold, on February 3, 1969 at 7 :30 P.M. with the. following present:
Alvah B. Goldsmith, Frank Dawson, George Simpson, Douglas Robertson
and Marion Regent, Secretary. Absent: John F. McNulty.
Mr. Richard Lark, Attorney for William and Regina Victoria, appeared
before the Board to request an extension of the completion date as
contained in the agreement dated December. 2, 1968, for the removal of
land from town waters. Since the Trustees realize that the dredging
cannot .be done in frozen ground, they agreed to extend this completion
date to not later than April 15, 1969. The project must be completed
on or before that date and Mr. and Mrs. Victoria were notified by letter
of this extensIion and the fact that no further extensions of time beyond
April 16, 1966 will be granted.
Application of John Simeoni, Jockey Creek Drive, Southold, N.Y. to
place a floz�;.ng dock in Jockey Creek was returned to him for further
information.
A questionnaire for the Conservation. Advisory Council Workshop was ,
returned withl,a letter stating that Southold- Town does not have a
Council'Gaat the present time and asking that they be notified of t -e
date of the next meeting so that the Trustees may be represented.
Application of! Ann G. Baydala for a stake in Goose Creek was returned
with the explanation that a map has been designed for stakes in the
Goose Bay Civic Association designating areas by mumbers for boats
and asking that she be more specific as to the area where she would
like her stakd placed, giving names of owners of upland property so
that a number I may be assigned to her.
Mr. Harold Schwerdt, President of the Goose Bay Civic Association is
requested to attend the meeting of the Town Trustees in March to help
ascertain how to designate permits for boats in the Goose Bay Area.
