A delegation of people from Goose Bay Civic Association, Inc. attended
the meeting to discuss the problem of mooring boats in the creek off w
the beach commonly owned by all residents of the Association. Mr. Frank
Hundley, Sec-Treas. of the Association, gave several suggestions which N'(D
might help solve the problem, including

dock at the end of Cedar Avenue for the use of possibly 10 boats if n W N
the membership agrees to the expense. ►%J
2) Give the Association an opportunity to come up with a recommendation cto
..
for location of moorings. 0 c

mits will be issued. pc,
A letter was sent to the Association in relation to the requests crrt
suggested by Mr. Hundley with the following comments : Cn m o-
1) Request for approval for mooring dock at the foot of Cedar Avenue U m m
cannot be granted since it is our understanding that Cedar Avenue is F
a public road and the erection of a dock such as you suggest would rt n00
K
interfere with the public use of this road end. V(D (D
2) The Board would be appreciative of the recommendation of the Assoc- m : m
N•N-0
iation as to the location of moorings in front of the Association owned ff,

that since the property now belongs to the whole town and : can be used
by the people in the Town for launching boats, etc. it would seem unfair
to limit the use of this property to the people in the Mattituck Park

would be strictly limited to the Mattituck Park District. Mr. Goldsmith
will discuss the matter with the Town Attorney.
