TOWN CLERK'S OFFICE SOUTHOLD,NEW YORK.
A meeting '\of the Town Trustees was held at the Town
Clerk's Office, Southold, NJ, , on March 2.7, 19'54, at
1:30 P.M.
Present: Emmons Dean,' President
John F. .McNulty
Frank .Dawson
Alvah B . Goldsmith
Ressselaer G. Terry, Jr. , Tot-m Counsel
Marion ,A . Winters
Minutes of the previous meeting were read for infor-
mation.
The clerk ,report,ed receiving a reply from, Mr . Leo Roon.
The clerk was asked' to write Mr. Roon requesting that
he file the application .for the work on Jockey CreeR
as a matter of record.
Discussion was held on application of Mr.. gweet of
H. C . Rowe Company for permission to leasel"under ' water
for experimenting in the growth of seed oysters . The
Board went to 'look at. the .proposed locations that were
. suitable in Cedar Beach Creek and Corey' s Creek. `It •was
voted to grant, the -lease for .these locations for a three
year period on the same basis a;s was granted to George
H. Van der Borgh & Son. The fee for same to be $7.5.00
for a threelperiod. A description and 'chart. Showing
these locations is to be furnished by H. C. Bowe Co.
Application.,of F. Harold- Sayre for permission to dredge
and erect a docR in Front or is property on Jockey Credk,
also to locate a pile for mooring a boat in Jockey Creek
on the easterly side ,of the channel approximately 400
feet north of his property was read. The permit was
granted, fee to be $10.00.
Application of Rev. Harold G. Sabin to erect a' dock
and dredge in front of his p_roPerty and 'to locate a pile
in Jockeyy Creek on the easterly side of channel approx-
imately feet north of his property to tie up his
boat wa.s read. The permit was granted- the ' fee to be
10.00.
The minutes were read and approved.
