Minutes .of TOWN TRUSTEE ME STING -- JANUARY 30, 1954,
TOWN CLERK'S OFFICE -- SOUTHOLD, NEW YORK.
A meeting of the Town Trustees was held in the Town C1ekk1s
Office, Southold, N.Y. , on Saturday, January 30, 1954, at
1:30 P.M.
Present: Emmons Dean, President
John McNulty
Frank Dawson
Alvah B. Goldsmith
Marion Winters
The Organization Meeting was held and Mr. Emmons Dean
was elected President, John McNulty, .Vice-President and
Alvah B. Goldsmith, Clerk.
Mr , George Wetmore appeated before the Board in regard
to an application by Mr . Helmut Hass for permission to
grade the beach in front o is of on Asshamomoque
Creek, bounded as follows: East by Bayview Ave. , south
by land now or. formally of George Kaelin, West by Arsh-
amomeque Creek and North by land of George Kaelin, about
350 feet North, of Old Colony Road, with approximately
'85 feet of shore frontage. Alson to erect a dock in front
of said property not to exceed 30 feet in length from
average high water mark. Fee $10.00.
A second proposal by Mr. Hass was to dredge and fill
an area most of which is on his own property and to take
sufficient fill from Mill Creek to make the filled in
portion at the approximate level of the highway- said
property described as follows:_ North by North Road,
East by Mr . William Richmond, South by Mill Creek and
West by Mr . William Richmond. Fee $50.00.
Permit was granted to Mr. Raymond A. Sanford to dredge
and remove bog in front of� his property on Broa.dwaters
Creek as per application. Fee to be $lO.00.
The Board examined the properties of M.B. Hass before
making, their decision.
