A meeting of the Town Trustees was held at the Supervisor's
�✓ Office in Greenport, New York, on September 18, 1953, at 7:90 P-M,
Present: President Emmons Dean

The meeting was called to order by President Dean. Minutes
of the last meeting were read for information.
The Clerk reported that Mrs. Marion 171inters had been en-
gaged to do tYB typing of the bills, letters and minutes
and that all bills would be in the mail within the next few- ,
days.
Applications for permits for improvement of Wd nneweta Pond
at Nassau Point m d dredging of Bru.sh' s Creek were to be
submitted by adjoining property owners of respective locations
for aetion at our next meeting.
The matter of the derelict barge in Mill Creek Channel near
the highway bridge was discussed. It was reported by Mr. Dean
that this is a menace to the bridge and to navigation as well
' as a source of possible injury to people who may be fishing
off:`- the wreck. It was decided to get the Town Counsel ' s
opinion as to the necessary legal steps that must be taken
to have this wreck removed.
The next meeting of the Board will be held on October 23, 19.532
at the Supervisor's Office in Greenport, New York, at 7 :30 P.M.
Minutes were read and approved.
The meeting adjourned at 9 P.Ni.
