A meeting of the Trustees of the Town of Southold was called to
order by Emmons Dean, President at the Southold Town Clerk' s
Office, Southold, New York on this date at 1:10 P.M.
Present: Emmons Dean
Harry Mason
Alvah Goldsmith
A formal application for a grant of land under water in Peconic
Bay in front of their property at Greenport , Long Island, N.Y.
was read from the J. & J.W. Elsworth Co: , Inc.
Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried such grant was made
and the sum of $15.00 was assessed for such grant.
Mr. H. R. Reeve, representing the Mattituck Park District
appeared before the board asking permission to erect a dock
in Peconic Bay out from land owned by said Park District
described as follows:
6" piling -- 4 feet wide - 156 ' long with 32 ' x 6" wide
Tee on outer end.
Action will be taken upon presentation of detailed description
of project involved. It was the feeling that such permits or
grant should be made without charge as it appears to be to the
public interest.
