HomeMy WebLinkAboutTR-03/27/1948 27 • Town Clerk' s Office March. 27, 1948 Meeting of Southold Town Trustees was called to order at 1:30 p.m. by President Emmons Dean. Present: Emmons Dean Harry Mason Alvah Goldsmith Torn. Council R. G. Terry, Jr. Supervisor Norman Klipp 28 Question of request of Theron Worth was again discussed. • Letter . of consent from adjoining property owners had been submitted by Mr. Worth and was read. Town. Council Terry suggested that if permission was to be granted it should be in the form of a specific written and acknowledged request and that the permit should be signed by adjoining property owners and acknowledged by them also. It was agreed that the necessary papers would be prepared by Town Council if Mr. Worth so desired, and that definite action would be taken' at the next meeting of the Trustees on April 3, 1948. A request from Gerald Hommel' East Marion was read by President Dean. He requested an area of 300 feet west of Dam Pond' East Marion for planting seed clams. This area is north of the Benjamin Property on Dam Pond. After Dis- cussion it was decided to lay the matter on the table until the next meeting. At this point, Mr. Gerald Hoh-u?iel appeared before the Board and described and outlined on the assessors map the area in which he was interested. He stated that this area did not contain any clams at this time. Mr. HoLTmel was told that the matter would be taken up for further discussion at the next meeting and action taken at that time if possible. Minutes read and approved.
