A regular, meeting of- the Board of-..Southold.,_Town .Trustees .was
held at 7:30' p;m.-,. November' 1, 1978 at the Town 'Hall, Main..Road,
Southold, New York. ' Present were:
President. Philip G. Horton
trustee Scott Harris
Trustee. Anna Hataier
Trustee John Nickles '
Trustee Paul Stoutenburgh
Trustee Hataier made a motions seconded by Trustee Stoutenburgh
and carried to approve_..the minutes of the meeting of -October 3,
1978 as submi.tted.':
On motion made by Trustee''Hataier, seconded by Trustee Harris,
it was
RESOLVED to approve the application of Joseph H. C. Wenk
to .place. a catwalk and floating dock.,.off- private. property of the
applicant-.'with the followiha,' conditions: .
1. The location of "the dock be approximately ten feet
east-.of where it ia.. shown on the application. -
2. There will be no blocking of the channel into the boat
basin.

RESOLVED to table.- the application ..of, Peter, J.. Kreh,,, Jr. , to

the .Town :Attorney. to get'.a., legal opinion- as ;to whether-` it--would
.be permssable -:for. the''. Town Trustees to grant' such-..an, 'application.

Mr. Kreh' s attorney and Mr. David .Strong will submit letters
indicating their position on this matter. The letters will be

On motion made by Trustee Hataier, seconded by Trustee Harris,
it was
RESOLVED to table the application of Guenther Stotzky .for an
offshore mooring subject to a more complete application. . . .

On motion made by Trustee Harrris_,:.:seconded~by Trustee Hataier,
it was
RESOLVED to approve the application of, Ralph C. Condit to
place a 150 lb. mushroom mooring off private property of the
applicant at Richmond, Creek.
Vote of the Board: Ayes: Horton, Harris, Hataier, Nickles, �' .

On motion made, by Trustee Stoutenburgh, seconded by Trustee
Hataier, it was
RESOLVED to approve the application of Ralph.. C.. Condit-to ...
attach a 14, x W ramp and 6' x 20' floating dock to existing
40' walkway off private property of the applicant'-at Richmond '
Creek and a letter be sent to Mr. Condit and the contractor, that .(James H.
the Board is cognizant of the violation of the'° dock being placed Rambo,Inc. ,
in the creek without first obtaining the• permit and that in' the 12/5/78
future if a similar incident occurs, the board will prosecute to
the full measure of the law.
Vote of the Board: Ayes: Horton, Harris, Hataier, Nickles,
Stoutenburgh
Trustee, Stoutenburgh made-a motion- to write the county- and
ask for a list of-dates when creeks were last dredged. Trustee
Harris seconded the motion and it was carried.
The next meeting of the Board of Town Trustees will be held
December 51 1978. There being no further business to come before
the Board, Trustee.• Hataier, •madea!-,motion:,,. seconded by Trustee.- :,
Stoutenburgh and carried to adjourn the meeting. Meeting adjourned
at 9:20 p.m.
