No.: 1-4738-00366/00007 PERMIT REVISIONS Southold Town Board f Trustees Dear Mr. Wieland: Per your Notice of Incomplete Application dated May 05, 2016 we have the following comments: 1. The check in amount of$200.00 will be sent to your attention directly from applicant. 2. The proposed modification includes the re-orientation of the proposed bulkhead alignment at the north end of the project in addition to the height adjustment of the proposed groin (low sill bulkhead). The original permitted plans were incorrect with regard to the dimension stating the top elevation to be 18" above the existing sand bottom and have been corrected on the most recent submission to represent 18" above the MLW elevation. The groin is proposed to act as a separation device between the proposed floating dock and the existing wetland area which will protect from sedimentation of the area under the proposed floating dock and thereby not require subsequent dredging in order to maintain the required 30" separation at MLW. In addition, the groin will provide for an area on the north side to develop wetlands with the benefit of an area better protected from boating activities. If you should tions or require anything further, please do not hesitate to call me 31-484-9332 or e-mail-at jpatanjo@optoniine.net. The plans have been revised as follows: 1. Typical section C-C has been revised to show the height of the proposed groin to be a height of 18" above MLW 2. The proposed location of the bulkhead return at the north end of the property was placed at a greater angle to avoid disruption with wetlands and better protect the property. We hereby request the revised plans be reviewed in accordance with current standards and an amendment be made to the current permit based on the above referenced revisions and attached revised plans. No.: 1-4738-00366100007 PERMIT REVISIONS Dear Mr. Penski: At the request of the Town of Southold Trustees we have included four (4) copies of revised plans based on changes made to the proposed layout of the bulkhead and associated work. Trustees would like you to visit the property and issue a violation. In comparing the diagram drawn on the inspection report to the approved plan you will see that they have added a 20' return and changed the direction of the bulkhead at the 9' area. They have also built a 9' long groin into the water and attached to the groin a 9'x4'jet ski float with two (2) 8' dia piles. In addition the lighting associated with the bulkhead is not part of this permit. I have also attached copy of the first page of Joseph Gentile's application and RPS form. Thank You.
