Deck Footings-Framing-Strapping
The above referenced building permit pertains to a 220 SF addition to a pre-existing
elevated wood deck with railings to the Brown Residence in New Suffolk.
During the course of the construction in 2010/11 1 visited the jobsite regularly to discuss
framing and strapping details with the contractor.
The deck footings were.installed as per the permit documents (min.3'-0" deep on
undisturbed soil).
The framing and strapping details were executed as per the architect's plans and
specifications as well.
