THURSDAY AUGUST 16, 2012
A Special Meeting of the SOUTHOLD TOWN ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS was
held at the Southold Town Hall Annex, Capitol One Bank Building, First Floor Conference
Room, 54375 Main Road at Youngs Avenue, Southold on Thursday June 21, 2012 commencing
at 5:00 P.M.
Present were:
Leslie Kanes Weisman,'Chairperson/Member
Gerard P. Goehringer,Vice Chairperson/Member
Ken Schneider, Member .
James Dinizio, Member
George Horning, Member, via video conferencing
Jennifer Andaloro,Assistant Town Attorney (left at 5:58 PM)
Vicki Toth, Zoning Board Assistant .
Call to Order at 5:05 P.M. by Chairperson Leslie Kanes Weisman.
The Board proceeded with the Agenda as follows:
5:05 P.M. Motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by Member Goehringer to
enter into Executive Session for the purpose of Attorney/Client advice and litigation:
Vote of the Board: Ayes: All. This Resolution was duly adopted (5-0),
5:47 P.M. Motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by Member Goehringer to
amend the ZBA Code of Conduct to include the following addition:Members of the Zoning
Board of Appeals shall not accept gifts of any denomination from applicants to the ZBA either
while an application is under consideration by the Board or after a decision by the Board has
been rendered.
Vote of the Board: Ayes: All. This Resolution was duly adopted (5-0).
5:48 P.M. Motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by Member Goehringer, to
exit Executive Session and reconvene the meeting. Vote of the Board: Ayes: All. This
Resolution was dulv adopted (5-0).

5:48 P.M. RESOLUTION ADOPTED: Motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded
by Member Goehringer, to reopen public hearing on Fidellow#6578 on October 4, 2012 at
10:00 A.M.Vote of the Board: Ayes: All. This Resolution was duly adopted (5-0).
5:48 P.M. RESOLUTION ADOPTED: Motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded
by Member Goehringer, to deny the request of Mastro to amendtdecision#6530; applicant _ 1
must either adhere to grant under previous ZBA decisions or reapply for the new proposal. f
Vote of the Board: Ayes: All.This Resolution was duly dopted (5-0).
5:58 P.M. Assistant Town Attorney Andaloro left.

The Board continued with agenda items, and commenced deliberations on the following

Member Goehringer, to set the next Regular Meeting with Public Hearings to be
held September 6, 2012 at 8:30 AM. Vote of the Board: Ayes: All, This Resolution
was duly adopted (5-0).
B. RESOLUTION ADOPTED: Motion offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by
Member Goehringer, to approve minutes from Regular Meeting held August 2,
2012. Vote of the Board: Ayes:All. This Resolution was duly adopted (5-0)
