SOUTHOLD TOWN PLANNING BOARD
March 24,, 1964
. A meeting of the' Southold Town- Planning Board
was held at the call of the Chairman at 7:15 P.M..,,
Tuesday,, March 24, 1964 at the office of the
Supervisor," 16 South-. Street,. Greenport,• New York.
There were present: Messrs. John- Wickham..
Chairman,. Henry Moisa,, Alfred Grebe,.- Archibald Young,
and William Unkelbach.
Also present: Messrs, Otto W. Van Tuyl,,. Consultant,
and Howard Terry, Building Inspector.
Mr. Van Tuyl presented to the Board the final
prints and road profiles of "Eastern-, Shores at
Greenport".,, map by- Otto- W. Van Tuyl & Son, dated
March 19, 1964. Mr. Van Tuyl stated that the Health
Department has given their approval and there only
remains securing the signature of the Health.Department
on the final map,`. and he certainly will have it before
the date of the hearing.

After examining the map, on motion of Mr. Unkelbach.,'
seconded by-Mr. Moisa," it was
RESOLVED that the Planning Board set- 7:30 P.M..,.
Tuesday,, April 14,, 1964., Town Office, Main Road,, Southold,
New York, . as time and place for hearing on the question of
approval of the following plat:
Plat of property. owned by- Eastern Shores,. Inc. ,,
entitled "Eastern, Shores at Greenport", consisting of . a
parcel of land of' 35.580 acres, situated at Greenport.,
in the Town of Southold,- Suffolk- County, New York, " and
bounded and-described-as follows:
Beginning at a point on the northerly side of Middle
Road (C. R. 27) (North Road) distant 410,78 feet westerly
-when measured alag the northerly side of said Middle Road
from the southwesterly corner of land now or formerly of
Frederick H. Tasker and from .said point of beginning run-
ning thence westerly along. the northerly side of said
Middle Road -along -an arc .of a curve be$ri.ng, to the left
having a radius of 3852.72 feet .a distance of 140. 91
feet to land now or formerly of' Dennis,, formerly `of
John-P.- Davies; running thence along said lAnd the.
following courses and distances; (1) North 15 degrees
26 minutes West 115.73 feet; (2) " South 75 "degrees. 20
minutes 40 seconds 'West 120.21 feet to land now or
formerly of Monroe S. Burt; running thence along said
. land the following courses and distances.; (1) North
15 degrees 55 minutes 50 seconds 'West 1891. 07 feet;
. (2) North 14 degrees 44 minutes 50 seconds West 415
feet .to Long Island- Sound; running thence in a general
easterly :direction along the same,. the -tie line of,which'
bears North 87 degrees 32 minutes 40 seconds 'East 609.36; '
feet to land now or formerly -of' formerly of j
- William J. Sutton or Herbert Fordham; running thence
along said land and along land of other owners,, - South
25 degrees 28 minutes 10 seconds East 1847 feet to
land now or formerly of said Frederick H. Tasker:�, running
thence along said land- South 68 degrees 19 minutes 40

The next- regular meeting of the Southold Town Planiing
Board .will be held. 7:30 P.M. , Tuesday,,- April 14,. 1964 at
the .Town Office,,,; Main, Road...,- Southold, New York.
The meeting adjourned at 7:30 P.M. so that the members
could attend a joint meeting of the Southold Town Board,
- Southold Town Planning Board,, Greenport Village Board and
Greenport- Village 'Planning .Board to further discuss the
Master- Plan.
