Dear Sir;
By motion of the Planning Board it was decided not to accept,
the revision .marked September 29, 1969 on subdivision entitled
"Shorecrest".... Arshamomaque:.. Southold;
Of cour6e... it is possible.,, if you wish:..: to enter an entirely
new application for preliminary approval. This .would entail
forfeiting the fee you .have already paid.
May I say in shorter explainationt, that the Planning Board
is consistently attempting to reduce the population density and
does not look with favor on increasing the number of lots in any
subdivision.
Very sincerely:..,
John Wickham,, Chairman

Mr. Terry presented the Planning Board. with a notice from
Riverhead Town pertaining to amendments- of 'their Zoning Ordinance
for raising building. permit fees. .
The Chairman informed the Board that.-the County expects to
pass one +(l) acre zoning: within the month. He suggested that .we
amend .our zoning ordinance to a minimum requirement of one ;(l)
acre, Any subdivisions in process will not be, affected.
A letter wass,-received from the Shelter Island Planning Board
asking us what enabling section of the Town Law we work under. It
seems, that Shelter Island Town was never given authority over high-
ways ,when land was re-subdivided. They only have authority over,
the originil subdivision map.
The Town Board has authorized a member of the Planning' Board
