The ;Planning Board received from. the-Southold -Town Board

Cutchogue'. The Planning, Roard '.was instructed 'to, prepare an
official -repprt defining the'. conditions described in the

On .mot:ion of 'Mr. Moira, seconded by Mr. Young,. it;was
RESQLyED that. the- Planning Board- recommend to the Town Board
the -change of , zone from ."A" Residential. and Agricultural District
to "M" Multiple 'R"esidence District ,on the above described property.
'The: Manning Board is thoroughly familiar with the location
of the property and feel this change of zone',will place this
property in a .conforming status. Further, it.. is understood that
Mr. Bernhardt has a. fine restaurant business ,in Great 'Neck ;and
his .establishment in. Cutchogpe..would be a real asset to the
community.
Vote of the Board: Ayes:- Mr. Wickham, Mr. Moira, and Mr.
Young.
The Planning,Board received from the 'Town ;Board .a letter
requesting their official report' on the petition of H. L. Kalin
.and L. C. Kalin for a change of zone from.."A" Residential and
Agricultural' District to "B:" Business District, and. a copy of
a resolution .of the Town 'Board stating ,that this proposed change
of..zone . would be onAhe Town Board' s own motion and include the

property of Albert Herzog, . Jr.
On motion of Mr. Young, seconded by Mr. Moisa, and carried,
it was
RESOLVED that the Planning Board concur with the resolution
of the Town Board and recommend that the Town Board on its own
motion should change from.."A" Residential and Agricultural Dis-
trict to "B" Business District .the property of Herbert -L. Kalin
and L1gyd'C. Kalin and property of Albert Herzog, Jr. Property
situated at .Greenport, in the Town of Southold and bounded and
described as follows: Beginning at a point formed by the inter-
section -of the- easterly line of Moore's Lane with .'the northerly
line of Front Street (State Route 25) ; and running thence North
2')42140" -east, 300. 33 feet to the . southwesterly corner of land
of the Village of Greenport; thence North 89041130" .east, 302.39
feet-to the southeasterly line of land of the Village of Greenport;
thence along the.westerly' line of . land now-ar formerly of :.Sledjeski;
-South 2005100" west, 103.60 feet to a point; thence along the
westerly 1ine . of land -of Herzog, . s"outh 0049'40" west, 195. 72 feet
to the northerly side of Front Street;. thence `South 89033130"
west, along the Inortherly line of Front Street, _ 31.0 feet to the
point or place of beginning. Map of land surveyed for Herbert

revised September 13, 1960.
It .is the opinion 'of the- Planning Board that it would be
in the best. interest .of the Town. of Southold to place- the non-
conforming business property of Herbert .L. . Kalin .and .Lloyd C.
Kalin in the "B" Business D-istrict .and .also include the property
of-Albert Herzog, . ,Tr. to the west in the "B" Busin:ess District .to.
complete the corner of the block.
Vote .of the Board: Ayes:- Mr. Wickham, Mr. Moises, and
Mr. Young.
The Planning Board members discussed. .with the Town Board
members several. matters of mutual ' interest which will' be more
thoroughly covered at .the joint meeting on .April 26th.
Meeting adjourned at. 2.: 15 P.M.
