A special meeting of the .Planning Board of Southold Town was held at the
Town Clerk's Office, Southold, N. Y.,. at 7130 P. M., March 18, 1958.
There were present: Messrs. John Wickham, Chairman; Harold R. Reeve;
Henry F. Moisa and Howard M. Terry, Building Inspector.
Considered and discussed were:
Application of Ellsworth and Winifred Grathwohl for a change of zone from
"A° to "B" district of the Williams Estate property at Southold, N. Y., as
described in the formal application.
On motion by Mr. Reeve .and seconded by Mr. Moisa, and carried, the
Planning Board recommends to the Town Board this change of zone and also
recommend to the Town Board including the Store property of Nellie Williams,
which adjoins this parcel, in the IVI district.
Application of Charles B.. Sage and B. S. Garde for a change of zone from "All
to 11B11 district at Arshamomaque, as described in the formal application, East side
of Main Road 200 feet deep from the railroad property.on the North to the Sea Shell
property (Carrol Sledzieski) on the South.
On motion by Mr. Reeve, seconded by Mr. Moisa, and carried, it was recommended
to the Town Board that this change of zone be made.
Application of Alexander and Frederick Koke to establish an Open Development
Area on their property at Bay View, Southold, N.Y., as per map of Ottol , VanTuyl,
dated 2/20/580
On motion by Mr. Moisa, seconded by Mr. Reeve, and carried, the Planning
Board recommended the following to the Town Board: Koke Drive South be widened
to 50 feet by moving Lot 8 back 20 feet; reducing Lot 7 to 100 feet frontage
on Cory Creek Road and taking 20 feet off Lots 10 and 11 on North side to Clemens
lot line. On the South Side, beginning at A. Koke lot, taking 20 feet off the
South side to Koke Drive East and 20 feet on the East side to widen Koke Drive
East to 50 feet to the creek. Also further recommended that an attempt be made to
secure a release of 20 feet from the Clemens lot to complete a 50 foot right of
way.
