A regular meeting of the Southold Town Planning Board was held at
Greenport office at k P.M. on Tuesday, July 2, 1957.
There were present: Mr. John Wickham, Chairman
Mr. Harold R. Reeve
Mr. Alfred Grebe
Mr. Henry Moisa
Also: Mr. Otto Van Tuyl and Mr. Howard M. Terry
Absent: Mr. Charles Van Duzer
Minutes of the June 18th meeting were read by the Chairman. On motion
made by Mr. Reeve, seconded by Mr. Grebe, and carried, minutes were so
approved.
Board studied petition of Florence M. Moore, 119 Second Street, Garden
City, N. Y. , which was accompanied by check No. 1852 and description of
property. Petition to change property located in Southold, N. Y., bounded
on the North by Bowery bane, South and South East by State Road and West
by Glover, to "Bu Business from "An Residential zone. On motion made by
Mr. Grebe and seconded by Mr. Reeve, board adopted the following resolution:
RESOLVED, That this petition be recommended to the Town Board for action.
Board studied letter from Oscar C. Gunther, Mattituck, N. Y. , regarding
a change of zone. Clerk was instructed to write Mr. Gunther advising him
that any changed from the zoning map, which was signed on August 1, 1956,
would have to be upon petition and advised that necessary forms could be
obtained from the Building Inspector, Town Clerkts office, Southold, N. Y.
Mr. Van Tuyl advised the board that Mr. Hilton Epp, Hilton Heights,
Southold, N. Y. , has asked that a committee of the board meet with him on
the property on Saturday afternoon, July 6th.
Board then reviewed the petition. of Mr. & Mrs. .Ziegler and agreed to
inspect the property, located on Marion Lake and Bay Avenue, East Marion,
immediately following the close of this meeting.

Chairman suggested that Notice of Meeting be sent out to all members
of the board on the Wednesday preceding meeting. In addition to the
members of the board notices are to be sent to the followings
Mr. Norman Klipp, Supervisor
Mr. Otto Van Tuyl
Mr. Howard M. Terry, Building Inspector
Mr. Harold Price, Supt. of Highways
Voucher for time and supplies was submitted by the Clerk. Board
unanimously agreed that this be approved and submitted to the Town Board.
Meeting adjourned at 5 P.M.
