A regular meeting of .the Southold Torn Planning Board was held in the
Greenport- office at .4 P.M. on Tuesday, September 3, 1957,
There were present: Mr.. Wickham, Chairman
Mr, Reeve
Mr. Moisa
Absent: Mr. Van Duzer and Mr. Grebe
Also present: Mr. Norman Kl.ipp, M.r Howard M. Terry and Mr. .Otto W. Van Tuyl
Minutes of the August 20th meeting were read by the Clerk. On motion made by '
Mr. Moisa, seconded by Mr. Reeve, and carried, minutes were approved.
Voucher covering time was submitted by the Clerk. On motion made by Mr.
.Moisa and seconded by Mr. Reeve board approved that said voucher be submitted to
the Town Board for payment.
Board studied letter, dated August 23, 1957, from the Board of Appeals in
which they recommended an addition to the Zoning Ordinance under ARTICLE IV,
Section 400. It was
RESOLVED, That this be recommended to the Southold Town Board for study by
their attorney and adoption, with the added suggestion that Cement Block manufactur—
ing and Sand and Gravel screening operations be covered also as a special exception
by the Board of Appeals under "Oil Industrial District.
Board discussed letter dated August 30,. 1957, from the Board of Appeals con—
cerning Use of Land by Trailers. It was the unanimous agreement of the Planning
Board that this matter be held over to the next meeting and at that time they would
prepare some recommendations to the Town Board for their approval.
On motion made by Mr. Reeve and seconded by Mr. Moisa it was
RESOLVED, That the.Chairman affix his signature to map of Section 1,
Cleaves Point, _East Marion, N. Y., Town of Southold, Suffolk County, N. L. Map
by Otto W. Van Tuyl and Son, as approved by the Southold Town Planning Board on
August 6, 1957, and by the Suffolk County Department of Health on August 26, 1957.

MINUTES, continued
Board agreed.to hold a special meeting at 7 P.M. on Friday evening, September
6, 1957, in the Town Clerkis Office In Southold. At that time they will reviews
some of the old Town Maps and prepare their recommendations to the Town Board.
Meeting adjourned at 5.:30 P.M.-
