RE: Request for review for Tex-Mex Wet Store
CR 48, Southold
SCTM# 1000-55-2-20 &21
DATE: September 21, 2001
The Planning Board has received the attached request for site plan review
from Mark K. Schwartz.
A review of the site plan, (attached), shows a total of 38 parking spaces including two
handicapped spaces.
The plan submitted shows the septic calculations for Health Department approval.
The restaurant will be a more intensive use than the SCUBA dry store, however
observations show the parking is presently adequate and is fixed at 38 spaces.
There will be no exterior changes to the fagade and a sign permit will be required.
In light of the above, the Board requests that a decision be made by the Building
Department whether a site plan is required.

Dear Mr. Orlowski:
Mr. and Mrs. Fell have signed a lease at the aforementioned building and are planning to
open a Single Service Take Out Tex-Mex Store. We have submitted proposed plans to
Suffolk County Department of Health Office of Waste Water Management and the Food
Establishment Plan Review Unit and are awaiting approvals. The prior use was a Scuba
Sales Shop.
No exterior work is proposed and a sign application will be completed as required at a
later date.
Please review the project and plans enclosed. Thank you.
Very truly yours,
Mark K. Schwartz, AIA Architect
