Booth - Town Clerk Meeting of October 4, 1948 The Southold Town Board met at the office of Suppervisor Norman E. Klipp at Greenport, on Monday, October 4, 1948. The meeting was called to order at 1:30 P.M. with the following present: x Supervisor Klipp; Justices Terry, Tuthill, Albertson and Clark; Town Supertendent of Highways Price; Town Attorney Terry and Town Clerk Booth. The Board sat at once as a •Committee on audit to examine claims against the Town, concluding the audit work at 2:15 P.M. - The minutes of the previous meeting were read and duly approved as read. Moved by Justice Tuthill; seconded by Justice Clark: * - Resolved: That the regular monthly meeting of this Board and the - preliminary budget meeting be held at the office of the Supervisor at Greenport on Friday, October 8, 1948, at 1:30 P.M. - -r� Unanimously adopted. Chief of Police Otto L. Anrig presented the Police report for the � f month of September and the police schedule of work for the months of Oct. and Nov. v Moved by Justice Terry; seconded by Justice Albertson: Resolved: That the Police report for the month of Sept. and the Police schedule of work from Oct. llth to Nov. 7th, be accepted by . the Town• Board and placed on file. Unanimously adopted. 1 Moved by Jus"tice Tuthill; seconded by Justice Terry: Resolved: "`That General Bills in the amount of $39880.05; Lighting District Bills in the amount of $19140.49; non-reimbursable Welfare •:� Bills in the amount of $16.90, and Fishers Island Ferry District Bills in the amount of $129072.10 be and the same are hereby ordered paid.
