Meeting of June 8, 1948
The Southold Town Board met at the office of Supervisor Norman
E. Kli' at Greenport on Tuesday, June 8th, 1948. the meeting was
called to order at 1:30 P.M. with the following present: Super- . ._.
visor Klipp; Justices Terry, Albertson and Clark; sown ''uperintendent tL
of Highways Price and Town Attorney Terry.
The Board sat at once as a committee on audit to examine claimer
against the Town, concluding the audit work at 2:30 P.M.
The minutes 'of the previous meeting were read and duly approved as
read. -Chief -ofPolice Otto L. Anrig presented the police report
for the month of May and the police schedule for the months of
June and July ,
Moved by Justice Albertson; seconded by Justice Clark: -
Resolved: That the Town Board does hereby approve the schedule. '
submitted by the` Town Police Department for the months of June and

insurance on the buildings at Town Beach, Southold to $5,000. be
approved.

Resolved: That Bond #15115238 of the Aetna Casualty and Surety
Co. for Supervisor Norman E. Klipp be and is hereby approved as to
form and sufficiency-of surety in accordance with section 283 .of
the Highway Law. ;

Resolved: - hat Supervisor Norman E. Klipp be authorized .to
arrange for' cleaning and grading Town Beach. Cost not to � exceed
$500.

Resolved: that general bills in the amount of $1,132.611 -Public
Welfare bills in the amount of $22.80; Lighting District bills
in the amount of $1 135. 53; Fishers Island Ferry District bills in
the amount of $348.37 be and the same are hereby ordered paid.

At 5:00 P.M. The Board went to view the alterations at Town Beach
also that woodland on Sound View Road in Southold now owned by }
George Berkoski of Peconic
