The Southold Town Board met at the office of Supervisor Norman E. Klipp
at .Greenport, February 24 1948. The meeting was called to order at
1:30 P.M. with the follawlrig present: Supervisor .Klipp; Justices
Tuthill Albertson and Clark; Town Superintendent of Highways,, Vrice;
Town At;orney,- Terry and Town Clerk, Booth.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and were duly a pproved.as
read.
The! Supervisor appointed Justice Clark and Justice Tuthill as a committee
on Inland Waterway Improvements. He also appointed Justice Albertson and
-Justice ,Terry a .Committee on Police Department requirements.

Supervisor, at Greenport, on Tuesday, March' 23, 1948, at .2:00 ®'clock
' y . P.M. to consider the passing of an ordinance prohibiting the dumping
� of garbage or refuse of any kind on private property.
Unanimously adopted.
Moved by Justice Tuthill; seconded by Justice Albertson:
Resolved: That the Town Superintendent of Highways is hereby -authorized
to purchase under Section 142 of the Highway ;Law from the Good Roads Mach-
inery Co. with approval of the County Superintendent of Highways 10,000„
Lih. feet Good Roads Snow Fence for a total price of $1,618.80. F.O.B.
Peconic.

Resolved: That the regular monthly audit meeting of this Board will be
held at the Supervisor's Office on Firday, March 5, 1.9489 at 1:30
P.M.
