The Southold Town Board met a,t the office of Supervisor Norman E. two
Klipp at Greenport, on Tuesday,, October 25, 1949. The meeting was
called to order at 1:30 P.M. with the following present: Super-
visor Klipp; Justices Terry; Tuthill; Albertson and Clark; Town •'
Superintendent of Highways Price; Town Attorney Terry and Town,
Clerk Booth,
The minutes of the previous meeting .were read and duly approved
as read.
Lawyer Kingsley Smith appeared before the Board in behalf of the
Mattituck
,Park District, inquiring as to the size of Bond re-
quired of the Park Commissioners' The Board stated they should be
yearly bonds in the amount of $1,000. �.
Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Justice Terry:
Resolved: That the regular monthly audit meeting of this Board ..
be held at the office of the Supervisor at Greenport, on Thursday,
November lb, 1949, at 1:30 P.M.

Resolved: That the contract between the Fishers Island Ferry
District and the Rhode Island Nacigation Company for the chartering
of the vessel M.V. Yankee from Sept , 26, 1949 to Sept. 28, 1949,
both dates inclusive be and the same is hereby approved.

Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Justicee Terry: a,
Resolved: That the Town Board does hereby approve the letter of
agreement between the Fishers Island Ferry District and E.S.
Wilcox in the operation of the Vessel Col. Batter, in the amount
of $8V300.00 from Sept. 1 , 1949 to Sept. 30, 1949, both dates
inclusive.

Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Justice Tuthill:
Resolved: That the Town Board does hereby approve the supplemental
agreement No, 1 to contract No. W-30-315(AAI) -1 between the United
States of America and the Fishers Island Ferry District.
Unanimously adopted.
Moved by Supt . of Highways Price; seconded by Justice Terry: i
Resolved: That inasmuch as the required dedications have been <�
duly received, map of the dame duly filed and the necessary papers hit
signed, the Town Board take over and maintain, as public highways ,
Olejule Lane , Channel Lane and Kraus Road at Mattituck, Town of *-
Southold, N.Y.
Unanimously adopted.

Whereas, the Mattituck Chamber of Commerce has requested that' a
mudsill be installed in Mattituck Cfeek, and �..
Whereas, in the opinion of the Town Board of the Town of Southold
that a survey be made prior to any installation. }
Now Therefore, Be It Resolved: That Supervisor Norman E. Klipp be
and hereby is authorized to expend a sum not to exceed $y1, 500. in �
conjunction with the County Engineer of Suffolk County for the pur-
pose of obtaining plans and specifications and a survey in order -+-
to determine the feasibility of such project.
