Klipp at Greenport, on Saturday, Oct. ,7, 1950, The meeting was called to order at 1:30 P.M. with the following present: Supervisor Klipp; Justices Terry, Tuthill, Albdrtson and Clark; Town Superintendent of Highways Price; Town Attorney Terry and Town Clerk Booth. Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Justice Terry: Resolved: That ,the regular,rimonthly audit meeting of th s_BBoard be held at the office of the Supervisor at Greenport, on Thurs. , Nov. 9th, 19501 at 1:30 P.M. Unanimously adopted. Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Justice Terry: RESOLVED, that this Town Board does hereby prepare and approve as the preliminary budget of this Town for the fiscal year beginning on the 1st day of January, 1951, the itemized statement of estimated revenues and expenditures hereto attached and made a part of this resolution, and be it FURTHERERESOLVED, that such preliminary budget shall be filed in the office of the Town Clerk where it shall be -available for inspection by any interested person at all reasonable hours , and be it FURTI3ER RESOLVED, that this Board shall meet at 2 o 'clock P M. on the . 9th day of November , 1950 , for the purpose of holding a public hearing upon such preliminary budget, and be it FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Town Clerk give notice of such public hearing in the manner provided in Section 113 of the lown Law, and that such notice be published in substantially the following form: NOTICE OF HEARING UPON PRELIMINARY BUDGET Notice is -hereby given that the preliminary budget of the Town of Southold for .the fiscal year beginning January lst, 1951, has been completed and filed in the office of the Town Clerk, at _ °outhold,, New York , where, it is available for inspection by any interested person at all reasonable hours . ..Further notice is hereby given that the Town Board of the Town of Southold will, meet and review said preliminary budget and hold a public hearing thereon, at The Office of the Supervisor--Greenport , New York at_ 2, o 'clock P M. on the 9th day of November , 19L0 and that at such hearing any person may be heard in favor of or agaiM the preliminary budget as complied or for or against any item or items therein contatned. Secti,onll. That, pursuant to the .Local Finance Law of the State of New York, the TOWN OF SOUTHOLD, NEW YORK;r , for the purpose of paying the cost of snow removal and erection of snow fence during 1950, the same being an expenditure for which an insufficient .appropriation was made in the . w current annual budget of the sown of Oouthold, shall issue and sell a budget note in the amount of 6,000.00 to mature on March 1, 1951. Zection 2. That, exeept as herein specifically prescribed, 'said note shall be of the date, terms , form, contents and place of payment and at }= a rate .of interest not exceeding two per,centum per annum, as may be determindd by the Town 'upervisor, consistent, however, with the provisions of the said Local Fiance Law of the State of New York; and shall be executed in the name of the said Town by its Supervisor and the seal of said sown shall be attached thereto. Section 3 . That said note shall be sold at private sale by the Town Supervisor at -a p price of not less than per value and accrued interest, if any, and upon due execution said sale of said note the same shall be delivered to the purchaser upon payment by him to the Town Supervisor of the purchase price in cash; and the receipt of such Supervisor -shall be a full acquitance to such purchaser who shall not be obliged to see . . to the application of the purchase money. Section 4. The full faith and credit of the Town of Southold, New York are pleaged. to the punctual payment of principal and interest on said Note. This note may not be converted to registered form. This note is the only note of an authorized issue in the amount of Six Thousand(6,000.00)Dollars,for the purpose of paying for snow removal and erection of snow fence during 1950,the coxt of which was in excess of, ,the appropriation made in the current budget. The faith and credit of such Town of `'outhold are hereby irrevocably pledged . for the punctual payment of the principal of and interest on this note accord- ling to its terms. It is hereby certified and receipted that all conditions , acts and things required by the Constitution and statutes of the State of N.Y. to exist, to have happened and to have been performed precedent to and in the issuance of this note, exist , have happened and have been performed, a:nd that .this note together with all other indebtedness of such fown of Southold is within every debt and other limit prescribed by. the Constitution and Laws of sueh, Statew.
