Klipp at Greenport, on Tuesday, May 23, 1950. ., The Meeting was called to order at 1:30 P.M. with the following present: Super- visor Klipp; Justices Tuthill, Albertson, and Clark; Town Super- intendent. of Highways Price; Town Attorney Terry and Town Clerk Booth. The Minutes of the previous meeting were read and duly approved� as read. Moved by Justice Albertson; seconded by Justice Clark: Resolved: That the regular monthly addit meeting of this -Board be held ,at the office of the Supervisor at Greenport, on Tuesday, June 6, 1950 at 1:30 P.M. ;=•w Unanimously adopted. Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Justice Albertson; - .y ';,Resolved: That the Supervisor be authorized to take necessary steps to request a , 38 foot Coast Guard Picket Boat to be assigned to patrol , duty ,in Gardiners Bay, Greenport Harbor, Shelterisland Sound,: 1 ° n-* Great Peconic Bay and Little Peconic Bay, through the months of April, May, June,'.;July, August and, September. Unanimously adopted.. Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Justice Tuthill: Resolved: That sown Welfare Officer, Archie W. Symonds be authorized • to attend Town and C unty Officers Training School at Hobart- Williams , Smith :Coll4es , Geneva, .New York, on June 14th, 15th and 16th,, Necessary expenses incurred by a Welfare Officer attending this school are a . prope� Town charge under sub-division 12 Section 102 of the Town Law. Unanimously adopted. Moved by Justice Albertson; seconded by Justice Tuthill: Resolved: That inasmuch as the required dedications have been duly received, map of same duly filed ,and the necessary papers signed, _..ti the. Town Board take over and maintain as public highways , Hay-water Drive, Broadwaters Drive, -Oak Drive, Mason Drive and Hickory Drive at'`Cutchogue, Town of Southold, N.Y. � H. Unanimously adopted. Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Justice Tuthill: Resolved that the , Ghief of Police be -and hereby is authorized .to - appoint a watchman for duty .,at the Police Department on Sundays . through the months of June, July, AAugust and September, salary to be $7.00 per diem,, Unanimously adopted. Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Justice Albertson: Whereas , the Commissioners of the Fishers Island Ferry District have heretofore on June 15, 1928, entered into a letter agreement with E.S. Wilcox of New London, Conn. , for the operation of ,a vessel for said Ferry District, and Whereas, said letter of agreement has from time to time been modified and Whereas, the exigencies of the situation requires the continuous and uninterrupted operation of said Fishers Island Ferry District, Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved, that the aforesaid Letter Agreement of May 17, 1950, be -and (the same hereby is approved subject to . the approval of the New York State Department of Audit and Control.
