HomeMy WebLinkAboutTB-02/21/1950 257 �., Meeting of February 21, 1950 The Southold Town Board met at the office of Supervisor Norman E. Klipp at Greenport , on Tuesday, February 21, 1950. The meeting was called to order at 1:30 P.M. with the following present: Supervisor Klipp; Justices Terry; Tuthill; Albertson and Clark; Town Attorney Terry and Town Clerk Booth. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and duly approved as read. Y Moved by Justice Tuthill; seconded by Justice Albertson;- Resolved: That the regular monthly audit meeting of this Board be held' at the office of the Supervisor at Greenport, on Tuesday, March 77 1950, at 1:30 P.M. i- ' Unanimously adopted. Otto W. Van Tuyl appeared before the Board presenting a map of"Greenport Shotes"at Greenport, for sub-division purposes. Moved by Justice � . Albertson; seconded by Justice Clark: Resolved: That the Town Board does hereby approve the map of "Greenport Shotes" at Greenport, owned and developed by Stackler and Frank for , .. sub-division purposes . -- Unanimously adopted. Moved by Justice Tuthill; seconded by Justice Albertson: Resolved: That the Supervisor be and hereby is authorized to purchase street signs not to exceed the sum of $500. said signs are . to be .� erected throughout the Town outside of the limits of 'the Village of Greenport. Unanimouslyadopted. A letter was read from the Joint Traffic and Public Safety Council of Southold, requesting the Board to consider the matter of establishing one-way traffic on Hobart Road, Beckwith Ave. and Mechanic Street at Southold. Moved by Justice Albertson; seconded -by Justice Clark: Resolved: That the Supervisor be instructed to make the necessary application to the State Traffic Commission to establish a one-way ,1 traffic on Hobart Road, south from the Main Road to Korn Ave. Unanimously adopted. - �y Moved by Justice Albertson; seconded by Justice Clark: Resolved: .
