Meeting of February 10, 1950
y The Southold Town Board met at the office of Supervisor Norman
E. Klipp -at Greenport on Friday, February 10, 1950... The meeting , .
was called to order at 1.30 P.M. - with the following present:
� Supervisor Klipp; Justices Terry; Tuthill; Albertson and Clark;
Town Superintendent of Highways Price; Town Attorney Terry and Town
Clerk Booth..
` The Board sat at once as a committee on audit to examine claims
• against the Town concluding the audit work at 2-30 P.M.
Moved by Justice Tuthill; seconded by Justice Terry:
- Resolved: That General Bills in the sum of $41A.02;District Bills
in the sum of $6985.08;...."non-reimbursable Welfare Bills in the sum�.of
$36.28; and Fishers Island Ferry District Bills, Account #2 in the
-� sum of $4539.34. be and the same are hereby ordered paid.
Unanimously adopted.
=-� Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Justice Terry:
Resolved: That the regular monlhhly meeting of this Board be held
at the office of the Supervisor at Greenport on Tuesday, February
21, 1950, at 1:30 P.M..
Unanimously adopted.
Resolved: That inasmuch as the required dedications have been duly
received, map of same duly filed and the necessary papers signed,
the Town Board take over and maintain as a public highway Petty Road,
at Southold.

Resolved: That the Police report for the month of January be accepted
by the Town Board and placed on file.
Unanimously adopted.
Moved by Justice Albertson; seconded by Justice Terry:
Resolved: That the Supervisor be and hereby is authorized to con-
tribute the sum of $300. to the Rotary Club to, defray the expense
of publishing booklets on Southold Town to be distributed at the
Sportsmens' Show which is to be held in New York City.

Messrs. Smith & Hamilton representing the Lidico Corporation,
_., appeared before the Board to show a map of a proposed road and
450 feet of beach on the Sound, west of Kenneys Road, on their
- " property, at Southold, which they wish to dedicate to the Town of
-..� Southold. The Board stated they would accept same as soon as the
necessary papers were presented to the Board.
Moved. by Justice Albertson; seconded by Justice Terry:
Resolved: That on the recommendation of Chief of Police Anrig,
' James P. Kelly, .Town Constable, be granted an extension of leave
of absence on account of illness.
Unanimously adopted.
- Moved by Justice Albertson; seconded by Justice Clark:
Resolved: That the' Town Board does hereby approve the contract dated
January 16, 1950 between the Fishers Island Ferry District and Robert
G. Williams, Public Accountant, with office at 56 State Street,
N.ew London, Conn.
Unanimously adopted.

Resolved: That the Town Board floes hereby ap rove the letter of
agreement between the Fishers Island Ferry District and E.S. Wilcox

in the .operation of the vessel Col. John E. Baxter and the I.P. -52
in the sum of $3806.21+ from January 1, to January 31, 19501
both dates inclusive.

Resolved: That the Town-Clerk be and hreby is directed to request r�
the Long Island Lighting Co. to install three (3) - additional
aerial street lights in the Cutchogue Lighting District' said lights
to be placed on poles Nos. 512-11+0-J and 11+2-J also transfers the
light from Pole #2-5 on Depot Lane to Pole #522-J at the intersection
if Bepot Lane and Main Road.
Unanimously adopted.
