HomeMy WebLinkAboutTB-09/25/1951 371 Meeting of September 25, 1951 j The Southold Town Board met at 'the office of Supervisor Norman E. Klipp at Greenport, on Tues. , Sept. 25, 1951. The meeting was called to order at 1:30 P.M. with the following present: Supervisor Klipp; Justices Terry, Tuthill, Albertson and Clark; Town Superintendent of :iighways ' Price and Town Clerk Booth. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and were duly approved as read. Moved by eustice Clark; seconded by Justice Albertson: Resolved: That the regulab monthly audit meeting of this Board be held at the office of the Supervisor at Greenpgrt, ori,;16•ct.9,1951. Unanimously adopted, �- The town Clerk presented to the Town Board detailed estimates of revenues and expenditures from the various officers and districts for the next fiscal year. Moved by Superintendent of Highway price; seconded by Pstice ~ Albertson:. �- Resolved: That as the Necessary requirements having been met, dedic- ations duly received, map of same duly filed and the necessary papers :,. signed, the =Town Board take over and maintain as a public highway KNOLLWOOD LANE, situated at Mattituck, in the Town of 4outhold,New York. Unanimously adopted. Moved by Justice Clark; seconded .by Justice Albertson: , Resolved: That Supervisor Borman E. Klipp be empowered to purchase a Terrabrac to be used at the Southold Town Dump, if the Town Attorney's opinion coincides with the opinion of Mr. Miller the state auditor, relative to the purchase of machinery for such a purpose. Unanimously adopted. ' > Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Justice Albertson: Resolved: That the contract between the Fishers island Ferry District and the Rhode Island Navigation Company for charter of the vessel -� M. V. Yankee, be and the same is hereby approved by the Town Board. Unanimously Adopted. Moved By Justice Clark; seconded by Justice Tuthill: Resolved: That the Southold Town Board -does hereby approve the act of the Commissioners of the Fishers Island Ferry District in the appoint- ment of Serge J.
