Unanimously adopted. T_ Adjournment was at 4:00 P.M. Ralph P. Booth Town Clerk Meeting- of September 4, 1947 The Southold Town Board met at the office of- Supervisor S. Went- worth Horton, at Greenport , on Thursday, September 4, 1947. The meeting was called to order at 1:30 P.M. with the following present:; Supervisor Horton; Justices Terry, Hawkins , Klipp and Tuthill; Town Superintendent of Highways , Price and Town Clerk Booth. The board sat at once as a Committee on Audit to examine claims against the -gown, concluding the audit at 2:00 P .M. I The minutes of the previous meeting were read and duly approved l as read. Moved by Justice Terry; seconded by Justice . Hawkins: Resolved: 'hat General Bills in the amount of $1,915. 54 and non- reimbursable Welfare Bills in the amount of $9.45,. be, and the same are hereby ordered paid.. Unanimously adopted. At 2:;30 P.N. the Board went to view the road at Id st Greenport ex- tendino from the Main Road to the Bay'n ptpperty of Edna Brown, which Clarence Roach and others had previously requested the Board to take _y over and work as a .public highway. The Board then view the road' on henry Smith' s property at Southold, situated on Long Creek, and also went to Cutchogue to inspect the Town Dump.
